Biography
Steve Yockey is an American playwright, screenwriter and producer. He trained at the University of Georgia and earned an MFA in dramatic writing from New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
Yockey began writing for television in 2014 with an episode of Awkward.. He later wrote and produced episodes of Supernatural (2005) from 2016 to 2019. He left the series to develop, write and executive-produce the HBO Max series The Flight Attendant (2020), an adaptation of the novel by Chris Bohjalian. His other credits include episodes of Scream: The TV Series (2015), Doom Patrol (2019) and Dead Boy Detectives (2024). In 2021 he received two Primetime Emmy nominations for The Flight Attendant.
