Biography
Stroma Cairns is a British director, writer and editor based in London. She trained at Falmouth University.
She directed three episodes of the BBC Three series Mood (2022), which won a BAFTA TV Award for mini-series. Her short films include Style Brokers (2014), Blud (2019) and If You Knew (2019). Her feature debut The Son and the Sea (2025) premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and screened in the New Directors section at San Sebastián.
