Biography
Subaru Kimura, also credited as Kimura Subaru or Subaru Samuel Bartsch, is a German–Japanese actor and voice actor. Born on 29 June 1990 in Leipzig, Germany, he is known for his work in anime and films.
He began voicing Takeshi "Gian" Gōda in the Doraemon series in 2005. Other notable roles include Aoi Tōdō in Jujutsu Kaisen (2020) and its film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2021), Satori Tendō in Haikyu!! (2014), and Franky in One Piece (from 2025). He voiced Hanamichi Sakuragi in the film The First Slam Dunk (2022).
Kimura trained in theatre and graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Harumi Sogo High School. He has also appeared in stage productions and worked as a rapper.
