Biography
Susan Bernard was an American actress and model. Credited at times as Sue Bernard or Susan Lynn Bernard, she appeared as Linda in the 1965 Russ Meyer film Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!. Her other screen work included a season on the soap opera General Hospital in the late 1960s and roles in films such as That Tender Touch (1969). She also appeared in television series including The Beverly Hillbillies, Room 222 and The Smith Family.
Bernard was Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month for its December 1966 issue. She later became president of Bernard of Hollywood/Renaissance Road Incorporated, preserving and licensing the photographic archive of her father, Bruno Bernard. She authored books including Bernard of Hollywood's Ultimate Pin-Up Book and Marilyn: Intimate Exposures.
