Biography
Susan Gauthier is an American screenwriter and television writer. She is credited with the screenplay for the animated film Anastasia (1997), alongside Bruce Graham, Bob Tzudiker and Noni White, following an earlier draft by Eric Tuchman. In 1995 she collaborated with Graham on a major rewrite that shifted the project toward a lighter, family-oriented romantic comedy with fantasy elements.
Gauthier began her career writing for television, contributing sketches to The Tracey Ullman Show (1987–1990) and episodes of series including The Sweet Life (1989–1990) and My Talk Show (1990–1991). She is a former member of Chicago’s Second City comedy troupe and has also worked as an actress and producer.
