Biography
Susie Bright is an American actor, writer and sex-positive feminist, also known as Susie Sexpert. She played Jesse in the 1996 film Bound, directed by the Wachowski siblings, and served as its technical advisor.
Bright appeared as herself in the documentary The Celluloid Closet (1996) and guest-starred as herself in an episode of the television series Six Feet Under (2005). Earlier credits include roles in Virgin Machine (1988) and The Grafenberg Spot (1985). She studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
Bright was the founding editor of the magazine On Our Backs and has written and edited numerous books on sexuality and erotica, including the Best American Erotica series.
