Biography
Sven Wichmann was a Danish production designer and set decorator. Born in Nyborg in 1931, he worked in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s as a set decorator on television series such as Julia and Nanny and the Professor, and on the film Beneath the Planet of the Apes (1970).
He later served as production designer on Danish and Scandinavian films, including Babette's Feast (1987), Prince of Jutland (1994) and The Olsen Gang's Last Trick (1998). Wichmann died in 2024.
