Biography
Sylvain Lebel is a Canadian film and television editor. Born in 1961 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, he began his career working as an assistant editor on projects including Lost and Delirious (2001) and C.R.A.Z.Y. (2005).
Lebel has edited numerous television miniseries and series, among them seven episodes of the HBO drama Big Little Lies (2017), The Pillars of the Earth (2010), True North (2016) and Transplant (2020–). He has also edited Cirque du Soleil productions such as Corteo (2006). He received a Primetime Emmy Award for his work on Corteo and a nomination for Big Little Lies.
