Biography
Tahirah Amandla Sharif is a British actress. She was born on 27 July 1985 in London, England, and trained at the BRIT School for Performing Arts & Technology in Croydon and at the Identity School of Acting.
Sharif is known for her television roles as Carrie Norton in Waterloo Road (2015), Rebecca Jessel in The Haunting of Bly Manor (2020), PC Lizzie Adama in The Tower (2021–2024), for which she received a BAFTA nomination for Supporting Actress, Cindy Carter in A Town Called Malice (2023), and Kim Harper in Fightland (2026). She has also appeared in the A Christmas Prince film series (2017–2019) as Melissa and in films including The Invisible Woman (2013).
Her stage work includes productions at the National Theatre and Hampstead Theatre.
