Biography
Takaaki Hirakawa is a Japanese actor. He voiced Tengu Crest in the animated series Blue Eye Samurai (2023) and appeared as Lord Mizoguchi in Shōgun (2024) and as a cashier in The Price We Pay (2022).
Hirakawa moved from Japan to the United States in 2011. He studied vocal performance at the Musicians Institute Hollywood, graduating in 2013, and later trained in improv at The Second City Hollywood, where he performed in sketch shows and founded an Asian-American comedy group.
