Biography
Takako Tate is a Japanese actor and singer-songwriter. She was born on 24 July 1978 in Japan and trained at Kunitachi College of Music.
Tate is known for her supporting role as Sanae Miyajima, a convenience store clerk, in Hirokazu Kore-eda's Nobody Knows (2004). She also performed the film's ending theme song, "Hōseki".
Her film acting credits are limited to this appearance. She has additionally contributed theme song performances to later projects such as Liverleaf (2018).
