Biography
Takashige Ichise is a Japanese film producer and screenwriter. Born on 18 January 1961 in Kobe, Hyogo, he founded Ozla Pictures in 1992 to finance Japanese co-productions for international markets.
He produced Ring (1998) and subsequent entries in the franchise, as well as the Ju-on and The Grudge series (including US remakes), Dark Water (2002) and Noroi: The Curse (2005). He has also worked on Hollywood adaptations such as Shutter (2008) and The Grudge (2004).
