Biography
Takeshi Ōbayashi is a Japanese actor born on 24 January 1942 in Okayama Prefecture. He has appeared in numerous films and television series since the 1970s, including a role as Urano in the miniseries Shōgun (1980).
Ōbayashi is known for his performance as Gonno in Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999). He also worked as second assistant director on Antarctica (1983) and appeared in Achilles and the Tortoise (2008) and Shin Godzilla (2016). His other credits include the television series Ultraman Leo (1974) and various guest roles in Japanese dramas.
