Biography
Tanine Autré is a French costume designer who worked in film and television from the 1950s to the 1980s. She is credited on Contempt (1963) and many other productions, often under variant spellings including Tanine Autre, Tanine Autré-Gerst and Janine Autré.
Her credits include costume design on Don't Look Now... We're Being Shot At! (1966), The Sucker (1965), The Little Bather (1968), Max and the Junkmen (1971) and The Umbrella Coup (1980). She was a childhood friend of actress Michèle Morgan.
