Biography
Tanner Bean is an American screenwriter and producer. He frequently collaborates with writing partner Katrina Mathewson. His credits include episodes of Pitch (2016), for which he served as staff writer, and Hawkeye (2021), on which he worked as writer and executive story editor.
Bean has written for Jury Duty (2023), Dexter: Original Sin (2024) and Dexter: Resurrection (2025), serving as co-executive producer on the latter. He is also credited on the forthcoming Grizzly Night (2026). Bean grew up in Midwest City, Oklahoma, graduated from the University of Oklahoma, and previously played guitar in rock bands.
He received Emmy and Producers Guild of America nominations for his work on Jury Duty.
