Biography
Tara Canton is a New Zealand actor. She graduated from Toi Whakaari New Zealand Drama School in 2023.
After the Party (2023), in which she played Grace MacKenzie, was her screen debut. She won the Best Supporting Actress award at the 2024 New Zealand Television Awards for the role. Subsequent screen credits include a recurring part in A Remarkable Place to Die (2024) and appearances in My Life Is Murder (2025) and the feature film Big Girls Don't Cry (2026).
Canton has also performed in theatre, including the New Zealand premiere of Monument at Circa Theatre.
