Biography
Tatyana Dolmatovskaya is a Russian costume designer for film, theatre and opera. She studied literature in Moscow before working in fashion, including at the Russian edition of Vogue. She later trained in Costume for Theatre and Screen at Wimbledon College of Arts, completing her studies in 2011.
Since 2007 she has designed costumes for numerous productions. Early film credits include assistant work on Anna Karenina (2012) and Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit (2014). She has collaborated extensively with director Kirill Serebrennikov on films including The Student (2016), Leto (2018), Petrov's Flu (2021) and Limonov: The Ballad (2024). She has also created designs for opera houses across Europe, such as the Komische Oper Berlin and the Bavarian State Opera.
