Biography
Tatyana Georgyevna Konyukhova was a Soviet and Russian actress. She was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek SSR and died in Moscow in 2024. She graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography (VGIK) in 1955 and made her screen debut as a student in May Night, or the Drowned Maiden (1952).
From 1956 to 1992 she was a member of the Theater-Studio of the Film Actor. Konyukhova appeared in dozens of films across six decades, including as Yelizaveta the Matron in Miklós Jancsó’s The Red and the White (1967) and as herself in Moscow Does Not Believe in Tears (1980). She was named People’s Artist of the RSFSR in 1991.
