Biography
Tatyana McFadden is an American Paralympic wheelchair racer. Born on 21 April 1989 in Leningrad (now St Petersburg), Russia, she was adopted from an orphanage and raised in the United States.
She first competed at the Paralympic Games in 2004 and has since won multiple medals across several Games. McFadden appeared as herself in the 2020 documentary Rising Phoenix, which follows the stories of Paralympic athletes including her own.
