Biography

Ted Cheesman was an American film editor. Born on 23 November 1902 in Kansas City, Missouri, he began working in the industry in the late silent era with credits from 1928 and moved into sound films in the early 1930s.

He is best known for his editing on King Kong (1933) and its sequel The Son of Kong (1933). Other notable credits include She (1935) and Mighty Joe Young (1949). Cheesman died on 30 December 1964 in Los Angeles, California.
