Biography
Ted Peterson is a writer and video game designer. He joined Bethesda Softworks in the early 1990s as a junior writer and contributed to several titles in The Elder Scrolls series, including The Elder Scrolls: Arena (1994) as designer and writer, and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall (1996) as lead designer.
After leaving Bethesda in 1996, Peterson worked at Activision on Heavy Gear II (1999) and performed freelance writing for later Elder Scrolls games such as The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (2002) and The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (2006). He spent ten years at Savage Entertainment and has contributed to projects for Electronic Arts and Disney. In 2019 he co-founded the independent studio OnceLost Games with Julian LeFay and Vijay Lakshman; the studio is developing The Wayward Realms.
Peterson also worked in television as story editor and writer on twelve episodes of the final season of Bones (2005) in 2017.
