Biography
Terence Dunn is a British composer for film, television, theatre, games and commercials. Born in Hull, he played in rock bands and worked in factories before studying composition for film and media at Northbrook College in Worthing. He completed an MA in composing for film and television at the National Film and Television School, graduating in 2015, and received the PRS Foundation and Alan Hawkshaw scholarships.
He was selected as a Screen International Star of Tomorrow in 2019. Dunn is known for his collaboration with director Sean McAllister on the documentary A Syrian Love Story (2015), for which he composed the score, as well as A Northern Soul and the music for Hull’s City of Culture opening event in 2017. Other credits include the drama Undercliffe (2018) and the documentary Almost Heaven, alongside video game work on the Pixel Ripped series and television scoring on Ladhood.
He is married to animator Nina Gantz.
