Biography
Teresa Sánchez, also credited as Teresita Sánchez, is a Mexican actress. She was born on 10 March 1968 in Mexico City.
She trained in theatre and appeared in stage productions before making her film debut. Sánchez is known for her performances in Dos estaciones (2022), as María García, Tótem (2023), as Cruz, The Chambermaid (2018), as Minitoy, and Prayers for the Stolen (2021), as Elena.
For her leading role in Dos estaciones she received the Special Jury Prize for Acting at the Sundance Film Festival in 2022 and the Best Actress award at the Morelia International Film Festival. She has received Ariel Award nominations for best actress for Verano de Goliat (2010) and best supporting actress for La camarista (2018) and Tótem.
