Biography
Terrence Mann is an American actor and singer born on 1 July 1951 in Ashland, Kentucky. He trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts and began his career in theatre, making his Broadway debut in the 1980 production of Barnum.
Mann originated roles including the Rum Tum Tugger in Cats (1982), Inspector Javert in Les Misérables (1987) and the Beast in Beauty and the Beast (1994). He received three Tony Award nominations for his Broadway work.
On screen he is known for the role of Brother Dusk in the series Foundation (2021–) and appearances in Sense8 (2015–2018) as Whispers, the Critters film series (1986–1992) and guest roles in series including The Blacklist and 30 Rock.
