Biography
Terry Ryan is a Canadian actor and former professional ice hockey player. Born on 14 January 1977 in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador, he was drafted eighth overall by the Montreal Canadiens in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft and played eight games in the league before retiring in 2007.
Ryan has appeared in several Canadian television series. He plays Ted 'Hitch' Hitchcock in Shoresy (2022–) and Teddy in Letterkenny (2016). Other credits include Hudson & Rex (2019) as The Gunman, as well as roles in Republic of Doyle, Frontier and Schitt's Creek. He has also worked in stunts and location management, and is the author of the memoir Tales of a First Round Nothing.
