Biography
Tim Gunn is an American fashion consultant, television personality and actor. He joined the faculty of Parsons School of Design in 1982, later serving as chair of fashion design from 2000 to 2007, before becoming chief creative officer at Liz Claiborne.
Gunn is best known as the mentor on the reality series Project Runway (2004–2017) and its spin-off Tim Gunn's Guide to Style (2007–2008). His acting credits include the role of Henri in the film The Smurfs (2011). He has provided voice work as himself in series including How I Met Your Mother, Family Guy, Futurama, BoJack Horseman and American Dad!, and as Baileywick in Sofia the First (2013).
