Biography
Tim Jenison is an American inventor and entrepreneur. He founded NewTek, a company specialising in computer graphics and video equipment, and is known for developing the Video Toaster and the 3D modelling software LightWave 3D.
In the 2013 documentary Tim's Vermeer, directed by Teller and produced by Penn Jillette, Jenison appears as himself. The film follows his multi-year project to test a theory about Johannes Vermeer’s painting techniques, in which he replicates The Music Lesson using optical devices and period materials in a purpose-built room in San Antonio, Texas.
