Biography
Timo Elliston is a composer, pianist and producer. He is best known for his original score to the Hulu series Life & Beth (2022–2024), created by and starring Amy Schumer, which he co-wrote with frequent collaborator Ray Angry.
Elliston’s other credits include Inside Amy Schumer (Paramount+), the documentary series Expecting Amy (HBO Max) and the Emmy-nominated, IDA Award-winning Abstract: The Art of Design (Netflix, 2017–2019). He composed the score for the documentary You Had to Be There: How the Toronto Godspell Ignited the Comedy Revolution... (2025).
He comes from a musical family and studied piano with his father, Professor Ron Elliston at the University of Maryland. Elliston began performing in clubs at the age of 14, later moving to New York City, where he has toured internationally with his trio and performed with artists including Stacey Kent and the New York City Ballet.
