Biography
Timothy Burns (1943–2018) was an American actor and television writer, sometimes credited as Tim Burns. His early acting roles included Purvis in an episode of Get Smart (1968) and the Waiter in Peter Bogdanovich’s Targets (1968). He also appeared as Morris Day in the television film Gargoyles (1972).
Burns later worked as a writer and story editor on series including Scarecrow and Mrs. King, Simon & Simon, Outlaws and Emergency!. He was married to actress Jennifer Savidge.
