Biography
Tina Baz is a Franco-Lebanese film editor based in Paris. Born in Beirut in 1970, she studied cinema at ESRA and the Sorbonne in France before beginning her career as an assistant to editor Luc Barnier.
She has edited numerous feature films and documentaries, including collaborations with Naomi Kawase on The Mourning Forest (2007), Still the Water (2014), Sweet Bean (2015), Radiance (2017) and True Mothers (2020), and with Sébastien Lifshitz on Adolescents (2020), for which she won the César Award for Best Editing. Other credits include Mad Detective (2007), Elena (2013) and The Edge of Democracy (2019). She also edited Apocalypse in the Tropics (2025).
