Biography
Tino Schirinzi, also credited as Agostino Schirinzi, was an Italian actor and stage director. Born in Taranto on 12 August 1934, he trained in medicine before turning to the theatre, where he worked at the Teatro Stabile in Turin and the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, and collaborated with directors including Patrice Chéreau.
His film roles include Raffaele's friend in Francesco Rosi's Three Brothers (1981) and Nicolino in Sciopèn (1982), for which he received the Nastro d'Argento for Best Supporting Actor. He appeared in other films such as Nenè (1977) and Liquirizia (1979), as well as numerous television productions. Schirinzi died on 18 August 1993.
