Biography
Tiny Ross (1910–1994) was a British actor. He appeared as Vermin in the fantasy film Time Bandits (1981), directed by Terry Gilliam, and performed the song "Me And My Shadow" in the film. He had previously played a dwarf in Flash Gordon (1980) and a member of Tom Thumb's Army in Black Jack (1979).
Born Walter John Ross Skudder in Truro, Cornwall, Ross had an earlier career as a harmonica player with Morton Fraser's Harmonica Gang, which toured until the 1960s. He also performed in pantomime across the United Kingdom. During filming of the climax of Time Bandits, he broke his arm; the subsequent horse-riding scene was shot with the cast concealed.
