Biography
Toan Le is an actor known for his role as The General in the 2024 HBO miniseries The Sympathizer. He has appeared in films including Visioneers (2008) as Fellow Tunt, Bigfoot (2012) as Alex, and Control Freak (2025) as Sang Nguyen, as well as earlier credits such as The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle (2009).
Le left Vietnam as a refugee in 1975 at the age of 15 and has lived in the Seattle area for several decades. His performance in The Sympathizer drew on his own experiences and those of his family; it was his first series regular role. Before focusing on acting, he worked as a visual designer.
