Biography
Tobi Wilson is a British comedy writer. He joined the writing team on The Amazing World of Gumball (2011) as a junior writer for series 2 and 3, later becoming senior writer on series 4 to 6, and contributed to series 7. He also wrote an episode of the follow-up series The Wonderfully Weird World of Gumball (2025).
Wilson has written for other animated series including Danger Mouse (2015), Bravest Warriors (2009), It's Pony (2020), Ninja Express (2021) and Shasha and Milo (2024). He was part of the The Amazing World of Gumball writing team that won Children's BAFTA Awards for writing in 2013, 2016 and 2019, and his episode "The Shell" received awards at the British Animation Awards in 2016.
