Biography

Tom Grieves is a British screenwriter, novelist and producer. He began his career as a script editor on series including The Bill and Touching Evil, and worked at Granada and Company Pictures before creating and writing his own dramas.

He created the Channel 4 series The Ghost Squad (2005) and the ITV series The Palace (2008), on which he also served as executive producer. His other writing credits include episodes of Being Human (for which he received a Writers Guild Award), Dracula (2013), Stan Lee's Lucky Man (as showrunner on series two), Law & Order: UK, A.D. The Bible Continues and No Offence (2018). He has also written the novels Sleepwalkers and A Cry in the Night.
