Biography
Tom Hall is an Irish writer and director. He studied film at Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design and co-founded High-Hat Productions in the mid-1990s.
He began his career collaborating with John Carney on the feature films November Afternoon (1996) and Park (1999). The pair later co-created the RTÉ comedy-drama series Bachelors Walk (2001–06). Hall has since directed the features Wide Open Spaces (2009) and Sensation (2010), as well as episodes of series including Trivia, Red Rock and Northern Lights (2023).
In 2019 he wrote and directed two episodes of the Amazon anthology series Modern Love.
