Biography
Tom O'Brien was an American character actor who appeared in more than eighty films from the silent era into the early sound period. He was typically cast in burly, serio-comic supporting roles, often as stocky Irish types.
He played Bull O'Hara (credited in some sources as Michael Olysius 'Bull' O'Hara or Corporal Bull O'Hara) in the 1925 war drama The Big Parade, directed by King Vidor. Other credits include The Private Life of Helen of Troy (1927) and Moby Dick (1930). He died in Los Angeles in 1947.
