Biography
Tom Reese was an American actor. Born Tom Allen in Chattanooga, Tennessee, he made his film debut in John Cassavetes' independent drama Shadows (1958), playing the character Tom.
Reese appeared in numerous westerns and supporting roles on film and television. His credits include Flaming Star (1960), Vanishing Point (1971), episodes of Bonanza (1959), Gunsmoke (1955) and The Twilight Zone (1959), and the series Ellery Queen (1975–1976) as Sergeant Velie. He continued acting until Dark and Stormy Night (2009).
Reese served in the United States Marine Corps and studied acting at the American Theater Wing before entering the profession.
