Biography
Tom Ruprecht is an American television writer and producer. He wrote for the Late Show with David Letterman from 1998 to 2010, contributing over 1,200 episodes as a writer. He has received 11 Primetime Emmy nominations for his work on the programme.
Ruprecht wrote the episode 'Garbage Island' for How I Met Your Mother in 2011. Other credits include writing for The Goodwin Games (2013) and The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore (2015–2016), where he served as head writer. He created the television film How to Rig an Election.
