Biography
Tom Williams is a British screenwriter. He studied film at Newcastle University and worked in script development for Fine Line Features and Working Title Films before becoming a full-time screenwriter in 1999. He has also served as chair of the Writers’ Guild of Great Britain Film Committee.
His feature debut was the screenplay for the romantic comedy Chalet Girl (2011), directed by Phil Traill. He later wrote the screenplay for the war film Kajaki (2014, released as Kilo Two Bravo in North America), directed by Paul Katis; the film received a BAFTA nomination for Outstanding Debut.
