Biography
Tomasz Klimala is a Polish screenwriter. He received a co-writing credit on the screenplay for the 2020 film 365 Days, directed by Barbara Białowąs and Tomasz Mandes and based on the novel by Blanka Lipińska. He also wrote the screenplay for the 2021 film Furioza, directed by Cyprian T. Olencki, and contributed to the television series Lokatorka and W rytmie serca.
Klimala studied film at the Jagiellonian University, the Cracow Script School and the Wajda Film School. He is a member of the Script Group of the Polish Filmmakers Association and the Polish Screenwriters' Guild. He has won script competitions including the Trzy Korony – Małopolska Film Award and received the Sapere Auso artistic scholarship. He shared a Golden Raspberry Award for worst screenplay for 365 Days.
