Biography
Tony Charles is a British television producer and writer. His credits include production roles on series such as Lovejoy (1991–1994), Birds of a Feather (1989–1998) and The New Statesman (1989), as well as associate producer on the 2020 Netflix miniseries The English Game.
He has also written for television, including episodes of Juliet Bravo and co-creating and writing The English Game with Julian Fellowes and Oliver Cotton. Charles contributed screenplays to episodes of the long-running series A Touch of Frost (1992–2010). He has received BAFTA nominations for his work.
