Biography
Tony Hardmon is a cinematographer who has worked on numerous documentaries. He served as director of photography on American Symphony (2023) and My Mom Jayne (2025). His other cinematography credits include Miss Sharon Jones! (2015), Detropia (2012) and The Boys of Baraka (2005).
Hardmon directed, produced and shot the documentary Semper Fi: Always Faithful (2011). He has also worked in the camera and electrical department on earlier projects and received a Primetime Emmy nomination for outstanding cinematography for a nonfiction programme.
He studied at Virginia Tech.
