Biography
Tony Huston is an American screenwriter and actor. Born on 16 April 1950 in Los Angeles County, California, he is the son of director John Huston. He wrote the screenplay for the 1987 film The Dead, an adaptation of the James Joyce short story directed by his father and starring his sister Anjelica Huston.
Huston received an Academy Award nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay for The Dead. His other writing credits include several low-budget films from the late 1960s and early 1970s, often under pseudonyms. He has also worked as an assistant director and director on a small number of projects. He was previously married to Lady Margot Lavinia Cholmondeley.
