Biography

Tōru Yuri was a Japanese actor. Born on 13 May 1921 in Ishinomaki, Miyagi, he appeared in numerous films and television productions from the 1960s onwards, often credited under variant spellings including Tôru Yuri and Toru Yuri, and also as Kiyoharu Okuda.

He is known for his role as Gisuke Shoda in After Life (1999), Priest A in Horrors of Malformed Men (1969), and appearances in Chûshingura (1962) and Sympathy for the Underdog (1971). Yuri died on 20 May 1999.
