Biography
Toshirô Suga is a Japanese actor and aikido instructor. Born in Tokyo on 22 August 1950, he trained at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo and holds the rank of 7th dan Aikikai. He has lived in France since 1971 and works as a national instructor with the French Aikido Federation.
Suga's brief acting career includes several French productions. He is best known for playing the henchman Chang in the James Bond film Moonraker (1979), a role secured through his aikido connections with executive producer Michael G. Wilson. His other credits include Tout dépend des filles... (1980) as Takashi, the television film Le Bouffon (1981), and Charlots connection (1984).
