Biography
Tracy Camilla Johns is an American actress. She made her feature film debut in the leading role of Nola Darling in Spike Lee's 1986 film She's Gotta Have It. She received a nomination for Best Female Lead at the 1987 Independent Spirit Awards for the performance.
Johns appeared in the films Mo' Better Blues (1990) and New Jack City (1991). Her television credits include a role in the series Family Ties and Snoops. She reprised the character of Nola Darling, now an older woman, in Lee's 2012 film Red Hook Summer and made a cameo appearance in the 2017 Netflix series She's Gotta Have It.
