Biography
Tsutomu Kitagawa (also credited as 2tom Kitagawa) is a Japanese actor and stuntman. He is known for suit performances as Godzilla in several Toho films of the Millennium series.
Kitagawa graduated from Sakuragaoka High School and joined Sonny Chiba's Japan Action Club in 1975. He performed suit roles as various rangers in Toei's Super Sentai series during the 1980s and 1990s, as well as monsters including King Ghidorah.
His film credits include Godzilla 2000: Millennium (1999), Godzilla vs. Megaguirus (2000), Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002), Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003) and Godzilla: Final Wars (2004), all as Godzilla. He has also appeared in later Super Sentai productions.
