Biography
Tuncay Akça was a Turkish actor. Born in Kastamonu in 1963, he began appearing in films as a child in the mid-1970s, including Our Family (1975) and the Chaos Class series as Bacaksız. He played the lead role of Apo in Bebek (1980) and received a special award from the Turkish Film Critics Association.
Akça is known for his role as Yusuf in The Road (1982). He continued to work in cinema and television over several decades, with credits including appearances in Where's Firuze? (2004) and as Mahmut in the series Elif (2008). He died in Istanbul on 17 August 2024.
