Biography
Turgut Savaş was a Turkish actor. He began working in theatre in 1956 and joined the Istanbul State Theatres in 1979. Between 1985 and 1986 he served as director of the Istanbul State Theatre.
Savaş appeared in numerous films and television productions from the late 1960s until the early 1990s. He is credited as Zafer in Yol (1982) and played roles in titles including Karaoglan: Bizansli Zorba (1967), Diyet (1974) and Su da Yanar (1987). He died in Istanbul on 1 January 1998.
